Glen Hansards Guitar Giclée Print

Glen Hansards Guitar Giclée Print

Glen Hansard is an Irish singer-songwriter and musician best known for co-founding the rock band The Frames in 1990, where he served as frontman. In the 2000s, he gained international recognition as one half of the folk rock duo The Swell Season. He then pursued a successful solo career, releasing 2 solo albums with the second being nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Folk Album.

Glen Hansards guitar, Takamine NP15, affectionately known as "The Horse," has been an integral part of Glens musical journey. Hansard played the guitar so much that he played a hole through it. He is quoted saying that its the guitar he enjoys playing the most. It has a great drive in it, it has something behind it, its like an engine, it sounds strong. Perfect for busking.

The original drawing is done in polychromo pencils on Bristol paper.
