Claire drew inspiration for this piece after hearing "Banjo Barney" a poem written by The Dubliners' John Sheehan, which was written about his band mate Barney McKenna.
Someone asked Barney how to properly hold a plectrum. He replied...

The clever sediment is represented by a highly polished little bird which hangs in front of a silver plectrum with a matte finish , which hangs on an 18-inch silver chain.
Choose from two options: a silver bird or a 9ct yellow gold bird.
The plectrum measures approximately 2.3 cm in size, though certain variations may occur as each piece is handcrafted.
